Global Latency Test
Measures your real HTTP round-trip latency to major global endpoints — CDN PoPs, DNS resolvers, and cloud regions. Results show how well-connected you are from your current network.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does this latency test measure?
The HTTP round-trip time from your browser to each endpoint, including connection setup and response. It reflects what real web traffic experiences, not just a raw network hop.
Is this the same as ping?
Not exactly. Ping uses ICMP; this uses HTTPS, which includes TCP/TLS setup. HTTP RTT is usually a bit higher than raw ICMP ping but is more representative of actual browsing.
Why is my latency to one provider much lower than another?
Providers have different edge footprints and peering. Low RTT usually means a nearby point of presence with good peering to your ISP; high RTT means traffic travels farther or via less direct paths.
